Day two in Kakadu we stuck with Spirit of Kakadu tours and booked on to a morning crocodile boat trip. The two hour trip takes you around the Yellow Water Billabong wetlands giving you the opportunity to spot plenty of wildlife along the way.

We saw a variety of animals on the trip…

^^ Beautiful wild lily pads, and if you have brilliant eyesight you can spot the tiny Jacana bird (centre and to the left) {or Jesus bird due to his appearance of walking on water} ^^

The tour guide was really informative and knew so much about the area and the local wildlife which made the tour extra interesting and we’ve both come away knowing a little bit more about crocodiles and various native Australian birds (much to Alice’s delight).
