Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk

The weekend just gone, I decided to catch the ferry across to Bondi to walk the coastal path to Coogee. As I previously mentioned in this post, I really enjoy walking. It is a great form of exercise, a way to get fresh air, and to simply clear your head. The Bondi to Coogee walk is something Alice has already done when she first arrived in Australia, and so it seemed like the perfect day trip for me to do by myself. The weather was forecast overcast and cloudy, however the sun came out and the temperature reached the late 20’s by midday. The walk in total takes about 1 hour and takes you all the way along the coast from Bondi, to Tamarama, to Bronte, Clovelly, and then ending at Coogee. Each bay is so different in size and the colour of the water. Each so nice in its own way. I definitely want to come out this way again for a beach day soon.

Also a little warning – Do not come to Bondi if you have body insecurities. This is the home of the fitness fanatics, thonged bikini women, and 8-pack men. There is something in the water over here as everyone is fitness mad. I felt overdressed in shorts and a T!

P.S. I am aware that a lot of these photographs are of the sea. But it was just so photogenic that day, plus the colour changes of the sea in each one was just too good to not capture.
