Museum of Contemporary Art

So on Saturday, Valentines Day, I thought since my Valentine is thousands of miles away in France (9413.77356 miles to be exact). I thought I would spend the day happily by myself exploring the wonderful city that I am currently lucky enough to live in.

I like art. Maybe not quite as much as my mum would have liked, but I do enjoy wandering around a gallery and just taking time to appreciate the arts and cultures of this world. Current at the MoCA, is an exhibition of the work of Chuck Close, the renowned American portraitist. So after paying my $20 entrance fee, I leisurely spent the next hour or so enjoying and photographing the pieces of work. I’m not really in to ‘old’ portraits, but these ‘modern’, inventive ways of portraying and creating portraits, were just amazing.
